In 2010, Kiwanis International and UNICEF joined forces to help eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT) worldwide. This historic initiative, called The Eliminate Project, will protect the lives of babies and mothers all over the globe and aims to help put an end to this cruel, centuries-old disease. It will also help pave the way for the delivery of other lifesaving services, such as clean water, nutrition and other vaccines.
The U.S. Fund for UNICEF partnered with Kiwanis International to actively raise urgently needed funds for global MNT elimination program. In total, The Eliminate Project was targeted to raise $110 million. In 2016, the goal was reached.
As the designer for this important campaign, I designed and produced multiple brochures (translated into 8 languages), ads, video graphics and social media graphics for the Eliminate Project.
To inspire members with fundraising ideas, a series of 3 brochures that unfolded into a 18 x 24 inch poster were developed. Each featured whimsical illustrations designed from illustrators in the US and UK.
